The ideal applicant:

• A BAPO member who aspires to move from a more clinical role into team leader responsibility and/or is already within a position of team leader
• Excited to build your profile and extend your network, to influence key senior stakeholders and drive change
• A thirst for learning and personal development – aspiring to strengthening your capabilities to drive long-term career success
• The desire, determination and resilience to lead a team
• Passionate about being a Prosthetist/Orthotist with a drive to support the profession and fellow peers and the willingness to further engage with BAPO
• Available to attend all set programme dates in Birmingham in person and the virtual evening seminars
• The support of a line manager and/or organisational permission to apply

The cost for running the programme is covered by BAPO.

It is BAPO’s aim for the programme to fulfil the delegates’ leadership expectations from both an operational and strategic perspective.

In addition, the learner will develop their own leadership toolkit throughout the BAPO Leadership Programme and be able to apply the newly acquired skills in practice.

Applications open on Wednesday 19th June 2024!

Spaces are limited, so act now. This programme is open to all BAPO members (apart from students). Students are excluded as the programme supports projects which will be located in the workplace. BAPO would especially welcome applications from prosthetists and also from members working in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

To apply please complete a 250-word expression of interest to attend this course, entitled:

“How I believe this BAPO leadership programme will assist my own professional development”

In addition to this expression of interest form and for your application to be considered, please email your CV to enquiries@bapowp.axia.support and include the subject heading (BAPO Leadership Programme Application).

Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Certification of attendance will be provided to support your ongoing HCPC requirements under CPD.
